D1 Studio is a multidisciplinary Canadian-based design studio for sustainable research, planning, architecture, engineering, urbanism, interior design and industrial design, founded by Amir Afghan in 2018.

At D1 Studio, we take an integrated approach to our projects. We believe in the role of architectural design in response to social needs and helping sustaining natural resources. We adapt ourselves to the needs of each project and its context.
We Seek to enrich the experience of daily life with the help of space. This goal is achieved by assessing the possibility of advancement and modification in the space diagram.

We specialize in designing residential, commercial, administrative and industrial projects. The projects of our studio are in various design scales from designing city spaces, architecture, interior design, exhibition booths and designing furniture, all in which we are dedicated to social and environmental sustainability.
The design process includes strategy systematization, planning, concept design, architectural plan drawings, execution plans, supervision and construction support. This is evident in the various designed and constructed projects within our studio.

We at D1 Studio work to a defined design belief in all our projects. Our perspective is based on the design process, rather than merely the outcome. The belief that unifies our design process is based upon principles and potentials in structure, craft, art and nature which are interrelated.
By considering each in relation to others, we find we are able to both evolve strong design solutions and challenge them by raising the possibility of other approached relevant to the contemporary world.
We prioritize various aspects of planning and architecture which include connectivity and relationship to context, public engagement and environmental performance. These aspects are summarized in four principles Strategic planning, Architectural Design, Construction and Equipping.
